“ROB KIDNEY: HONG KONG GARDEN” is a collaborative exhibition by PERKS PRODUCTION and WISH LESS gallery, curated by SOCIAL NERD. Drawing from Siouxsie and the Banshees’ iconic 1970s song, the title pays tribute to Kidney’s debut solo showcase in the city, reflecting his diverse two-decade journey as a British artist in Japan. The collection features an array of artworks, including newly commissioned canvases, ceramics in partnership with Yoko Nagai, a retro-rave track with The Magus Project, handmade stuffed toys, and collaborations with Hong Kong creatives, portraying Kidney’s evolving artistry and versatility.
ロブ・キドニーが香港で初の個展を開催。会場は今香港中を揺るがすクリエイティブ集団 @social.nerd.co の本拠地 @perkssouvenirstore にて開催されました。60点を超える新作ペインティング他、5mを超えるミューラルも見どころです。
オープニングには香港のクリエーターなど大勢の人々が詰めかけ、会場は超満員。香港初の個展にもかかわらず、多くの方にロブの作品を楽しんでいただきました。
